Depending on your political view this may or may not be a bad thing. Regardless, Chrysler is most likely going to go bankrupt as talks have fallen apart between all interested parties. An official statement is expected shortly. So will you be purchasing Chrysler vehicles anytime soon?
Now maybe if they released their concept below, we wouldn’t have fallen this far. I’m just saying.
Or this one below. I don’t get it. Why design amazing concept cars and not put them into production?
Carribean culture has a slang word called “Broughtupsy”, derived from the words brought and up, referring to the way one was raised. If there was a person who had to be reminded that they must wash their hands regularly, wash their face regularly or cover their mouth when coughing, they would be accused of not having any broughtupsy; of not being raised well.
Growing up with this type of training, shared by many cultures, I find it funny that internationally news programs and talk shows are informing people that they need to do these things to ward of desease and illness. Even more shocking is that some people seem unaware of this fact, if this is indeed the case, then parents you must do better. Thankfully I do not take public transit (other than airplanes) but if I did, I would be scared. I would be the angry dude in the back of the bus like, “I wish a fool would sneeze on me and not cover their mouth!” Trust me if you had not learned by that time to cover your mouth, you would have gotten a free lesson on the spot lol. Lets step it up blog family. I know we were raised to be clean.
I’m getting chills! Movies all summer playboy.
The month of May is going to be bananas; both Wolverine & Terminator on the BIG screen! Ok so you know you have to go rent the previous 3 movies before you watch this one right?
I know many of you have seen this trailer already but we’re getting close so I wanted to keep it on your mind.
I have got them all; MySpace.com, FaceBook.com, BlackPlanet.com, Twitter.com, Hi5.com (somewhere), Messenger, etc and for the record, I am networked out! My Facebook account is at 400+ new, unopened messages and counting and lets just say that is the best, most maintained one of them all.
I’m from a different era, so I don’t really get the point of Twitter unless you promote or advertise things (which I do). As a matter of fact, I still prefer a face to face conversation over the phone, a phone conversation over a text (Sometimes, texts can be useful when multitasking; likewise for emails) and a text over an email. I’m tired of this new trend.
If we are acquaintances outside of a business relationship that shared a past like high school or a past job or something than hit me with a Facebook message but if we are people that communicate regularly then pick up the phone and call me or text if you must type. Otherwise know that your message may not reach me and if it does chances are it will reach me long after you sent it.
Let’s make Alexander Graham Bell proud lol!

Looks like Camron is over his beef and the Dipset family is coming back together. Here is what some of the Dipset family had to say about the reunion:
“I just gotta tell you, stay tuned for Summer Jam,” he declared. “Like I said, it is what it is right now. N*ggas ain’t talking to each other over simple sh*t, nobody killed nobody took no money from nobody, it ain’t even no beef…This is a family dispute…We gonna be jammin’ in the summer.”
Now that they all have crews, they are going to be stronger. Per Juelz:
“Ah, man, it’s beautiful. That was the whole plot. For everybody, for all of us to have, how can I put it? Roc-A-Fella, Bad Boy and Death Row, we all bosses in our own right. We got the swag, we got the energy. That’s what I feel the whole idea of it is. To get us to the point where everybody’s team is solidified and all the bosses are still comfortable with each other and we can all come to the table. Roc-A-Fella, Death Row and Bad Boy, imagine what the tour would have been like.”
Apparently Beenie Man kinda put Rihanna on the spot and shamed her in our hometown (hers and mine) Barbados. Kinda feel sorry for this girl, its got to be like this everywhere she goes. Read below for an eye witness account (Love the island slang!):
“Rihanna is a bigger woman than me – and I don’t mean just in the literal sense that she’s five foot nuff. I would cuss two claat or several rholes at Beenie Man last night for what he did. Hear de scene that went down last night in Barbados at Reggae on the Hill.
The show was great – Buju Banton, Queen Ifrica, Morgan Heritage and a whole host of other artists, with Beenie Man closing the all-day show. Anyhow, for the whole day, Beenie breezing up in the Prime Minister’s VVIP stand, drinking Hennesy straight from the bottle, bun’ing a lil weed, going down every now and then to hug up the crowd just on the outside of the stand and clearly fulljoying himself. Towards the late afternoon, Rihanna, who has been in Barbados for the past week or so, came into the stand as well and was just chilling. Anyhow, when Beenie touch the stage now at about 7:30 and gave a generally decent performance – certainly the crowd was with him. Thennnn… he start calling for Rihanna to “report back stage immediately”. And then he start talking up a set of things about the infamous beating incident between her and Chris Brown, asking the crowd if they didn’t think it was ”ah eediat ting weh Chris do” while singing a very off-key version of the hook to ‘Umbrella’. You could hear a collective ‘ooooohhhh!’ as the crowd sucked in its breath when he said it. Honestly, you could tell that he was well-meaning, because he was definitely on her side and he was trying to hype up the crowd against Chris Brown but jeez … you feel the girl really want to be reminded of that incident in front of tens of thousands of Bajans?
Said I to myself ‘well no way she coming up on stage now!’ But Beenie kept calling for her and singing ‘Umbrella’ and lo and behold, she actually came up on the stage. Then he start singing his version of Umbrella , part of which went “Mi nuh have no fancy car/But mi neva give you no scar”. Trust me. I was shame for de girl. Everyone was shame because the crowd didn’t really hype up and carry on the way they had been earlier when he was just performing all his hits. I just wanted it to end. You could tell she was a little shame too because she was waving an Ethiopian flag at first and then she put her arm over her face but kudos to her, she mostly kept her game face on while he went on and on bout the incident and smiled and waved to his singing.
Like I say, better than me because no way I was coming up on stage and worse, staying on while he reminded everyone of something she is clearly trying to put behind her. Obviously it’s hard to put behind her when it caused a global stir but to have it brought up so, right in front your face and on stage in front of thousands… that rough still. Anyhow, after a little bit she waved to the crowd and came off stage and you would think it would done there.
But Beenie wasn’t done. He told her that Chris fi get vex when he see the pictures of him (Beenie) and Rihanna hugging up on stage because he is the ‘girls dem suga’ and anything the sugar touch get sticky and that when Chris see it he must get Heart Attack and then he went into that song. And the crowd hyped up for it and thank god, that was the last of it.”
After nearly 2 years of incarceration, West Coast lyricist Ras Kass is set to be released from jail late next month.
Frequent producer/collaborator Domingo told press that Ras Kass is scheduled to be freed on May 29.
The rapper, real name John Austin IV, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in Los Angeles. Rumors were spread that he was jailed in 2007 for violating his parole by flying to Atlanta and attending the annual BET Awards. He was jailed shortly after he was seen freestyling in “Cipher 3” with Joell Ortiz, Flo, and Cassidy.
Ras Kass’ issues with the law have been a career hindrance for the last 6 years.
After months on the run, Ras Kass was apprehended by Las Vegas Police in May 2003 and served 19 months in prison for his third DUI conviction.
During this time, the rapper struggled to be released from his contract with Capitol Records, who had previously refused to put out his planned third studio LP, Van Gogh.
Although nothing has been confirmed regarding a possible new label home, the West Coast lyricist was in preliminary talks with Def Jam and G-Unit Records at the time of his 2007 arrest.
Ras Kass’ last album, 2008’s Institutionalized Vol. 2, was released independently on Babygrande Records.
