Daily Rant: Slumdog child star for sale!

The poverty-stricken father of Slumdog Millionaire child star Rubina Ali plans to become a millionaire himself-by SELLING his nine-year-old daughter.  As a person who has worked in a shelter this is a sad reality that is too often visited upon.  Too many are too willing to create beautiful children but not raise beautiful adults.  For more on this story click here.

I am going to keep it 100% honest, I have friends that have fallen on both sides of the fence in regard to paternal resposibility and as I grow older the disgust toward irresponsible parents has become relentless.  I realise that everyone you may sleep with may not be your number one choice to create a lifelong bond with but that is what having a child with someone entails.  You don’t have to love your child’s mother but you must love your child(ren).  If you don’t want children then make sure that you don’t create any but once you have do not disrespect the one God like gift we have been blessed with; the ability to create life.

I am too self focused to have a child, not to mention I have not found a woman I want to marry yet (Call me old fashion but there will be no baby mother attached to my name but mad respect to all those that make it work and honor their children), so I have no children but I would never dare bring to this world a child that looks like me and has my blood coursing through his/her veins to live without me.  I am too much of a man for that.  I hope this inspires some to pick up the phone and make their paternal presence known.  Peace and love ya’ll.

MORNING INSPIRATION FOR YOU

Whatever you may be facing let this woman inspire you.  She has become an international star over night by simply being herself and pursuing her dream.  Now with interviews scheduled on Oprah and Larry King she has realized her dream.  I know you have seen or heard of it already but take another look and realise you are never truly far from your dreams.  I know it may seem corny but its a morning pick me up; sue me.  You will have to double click on the blank screen saying “Embedding disabled, blah, blah, blah”

I went to Western University and partied with the best of them at times.  Honestly for anyone thinking of University, yes there is a lot of studying, broke times and even more books but you will never experience freedom and partying like this; EVER!  Unless you grow famous like me lol, I kid, maybe .  Check out Mr. Asher Roth, his album is also out today:
