While on the topic of Nas, here is the legend Raekwon speaking on Nas’ (also a legend) feature on the album.
Looks like Rae isn’t happy with Nas right now.

Nas wilding in Vancouver with a comedian. Dope little interview

FeFe Dobson talked to Honey Magazine about Rihanna cold-jacking her style:
“I mean, for sure I question that, but who wouldn’t. She is supposedly a fan of mine. I try to take it as a compliment. It gets a little much when she starts getting the same tattoos as me but overall I just want people to separate the image and listen to the music. It’s about the music. Its like Prince and Michael Jackson, totally different artists. Or its like Kanye West and Jay-Z. So what? They are both black men, they sound different. So they both wear jeans, they are different.”
“I met her when she was the dance hall queen with the long hair. She was a nice girl but very quiet.“

Singer/songwriter/producer The Dream can now add label executive to his title, as he has been named Vice President of Island Def Jam Music Group.
The Dream, born Terius Nash, made the announcement today (August 27) via his official Twitter page.
“I wanna thank everyone at Island Records/DefJam for their faith in me and making me Executive Vice President of Island Records,” The Dream said in a statement on his Twitter page. “Thank you to my team..my manager Mark Stewart & my attorney Aaron Rosenberg for getting this 1st step of a goal accomplished.”
He went on to thank a number of industry executives who have supported him, including his production partner Tricky Stewart and Island Def Jam Chairman, Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Universal Records’ Chairman Doug Morris.
“I look forward to the challenge of rebuilding music for not only Island Records But for Universal Records as a whole. Today I’m humbled and blessed,” The Dream said.
For reasons unknown, The Dream also revealed today would be the last day he posted to his Twitter page, although no reason was given.
The news comes during a high point in the 30-year-old’s career.
Last week, it was confirmed that The Dream and his girlfriend Christina Milian applied for a marriage license in Los Angeles.
The pair are expected to tie the knot within the next 90 days.
The Dream was married once before, singer/songwriter Nivea, but divorced her in 2007.

For the record, the DIVA is back! Below her new single can be heard. This one is for you pops (he was a major fan). Now if my Sade could return to me then my cougar lust will be satisfied LOL. – VERSE
P.S.
Home girl is soon to be giving an exclusive interview to Oprah.

UPDATE: I think its a wrap for the Hov leaks…But in related news, XXL has teased their upcoming Jay issue with this cover and feature excerpts…
“But when I say I’m the best, I don’t say that outta my ass. I say that with all my stats behind me. I put that against anybody. I mean anybody. I really believe that… I believe in a lot of things.
I believe that ‘SportsCenter’ is the best thing on TV. I shouldn’t have to prove it. But I do have these stats to prove it. I’m talking about real run. I’m not talking about years off. I’m talking about straight—boom, boom, boom—back to back. We’re not talking about heritage acts either. We’re not talking about respect what I’ve done. I’m talking No. 1 [albums] 10 times. The Beatles is the only one [to have more
No. 1 albums]. They got 19, and if I get a surge of creativity, I could make nine albums next year.”

Def Jam Recording artist Jadakiss issued a statement early Wednesday evening distancing himself from a recent raid of his Yonkers, New York apartment.
The home was searched by local law enforcement following the arrest of 25-year-old Alberto Lajara and 39-year-old Gabriel R. Henriquez, who presumably reside in the Van der Donck Street apartment, leased under Jadakiss legal name, Jason Phillips.
According to published reports, Lajara and Henriquez were arrested on Friday (August 21) and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct; and felonious second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, second-degree assault, and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, respectively.
Basically he said “it wasn’t me”.

You know Nipsey Hussel is the hottest thing on the West and one of the newer talents coming out. Well, I am getting a mighty strong rumor that he may be going over to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. Now, if you don’t know what that means, stop reading now. If you do, you know that this would almost lock Jay in for dominating the next wave of Hip-Hop. He would just need a Southern rep and somebody international like Drake. Did somebody just say VERSE?!
