Rapper Fabolous Rushed To Hospital; Possibly Poisoned

Brooklyn rapper Fabolous was rushed to the hospital, after getting sick and almost passing out while driving his vehicle. The rapper took to his popular Twitter page today (September 27) and denied reports that he was involved in a minor car accident last night in New York City. “I’m ok everyone..thanks 4 the concern. I was not in a car accident, but I think i know where it started.. Let me explain,” the rapper Tweeted. “I was drivin yesterday morning & started feeling very sick & felt like I was gon pass out while driving.. I veered off 2 da side of the road.” The pain was so bad, the rapper called ambulance who picked him up from the side of the road, which could account for inaccurate reports that the rapper was in the hospital. “I believed I was poisoned so I checked in & was given medical treatment..a lil sedated so I didn’t tweet but was released 2 go late last nite,” the rapper wrote. The rapper was treated and was released and is currently home recuperating.

After being postponed last month due to permit problems and fear of violence, the 50 Cent and Bete Midler sponsored “40 Day” or family day  finally went down yesterday at PS 40 in Southside Jamica, Queens. It was previously  reported that the G-unit crew wouldn’t perform, and Bloomberg even confirmed this, but from the fotoage, it looks 50, Banks, and Yayo (along with special guest Cormega & Papoose)  all did their thing for the community that raised them. MTV News was on site and reported the event as a huge success and more importantly  a fun-filled day for the neighborhood.

“You been to a park jam before. You might have seen a lot of sh–, but you never seen no sh– like this,” 50 told the crowd. He directed them to look at the school rooftop where a slew of cops were posted. He then directed them to look at the rooftop of the adjacent housing projects where more officers were watching.

“Wave at ‘em,” 50 said. “Y’all might as well come down and party.” He also assured the police he didn’t come to start any problems.

“I’m on my best mutha—-in’ behavior.  Another day, I’ll be on some bullsh–.”

“50 was really happy we could do this today, finally,” Yayo told MTV News. “It means a lot to perform in your neighborhood. We go all over the world — Africa, Asia, Europe — but to perform in your own neighborhood is extra special.”

For the past month, the rumor mill has been afire with the notion that Nas was asked to be on two of the most popular rap CDs out now – Jay-Z’s Blueprint III and Raekwon’s Only Built For Cuban Linx II.

The rapper was questioned on these rumors and other news by PunchBowl Blog in a recent interview at Orange Rock Corps show in London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Nas initially sidestepped direct questions after being asked about the rumors of his musical inclusion on Jay and Raekwon’s albums.

“I love what Jay-Z album, Raekwon’s album are – my favorite rap albums. I think they have made Hip-Hop serious again and I’m just…I feel great about the whole world now because of those two albums.”

When questioned further about whether or not he was supposed to be on “Empire State of Mind” with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, Nas offered a terse response. “What’s your next question?” he asked. refusing to answer.

He didn’t answer if he was supposed to be on the albums, but Nas did say both were “very inspiring” both had “his head spinning.”

Nas said that he hoped his delayed Distant Relatives collaboration with Damien Marley could be released this year. He also suggested that next year would yield a new Nas solo album.

Nas also said that he was a candidate for the presidency at Def Jam, but it never came to fruition.
