Back in the day, there was a rumor that Biggie had tied up Starang Wondah from the Boot Camp Clik and like held him for ransom or something. Honestly, that’s what was going on, but that rumor is not fully true. What happened was the video for “No Fear” got Biggie pissed at Starang Wondah, because there was a Biggie Look-A-Like in the video in an unflattering manner. BIG didn’t like that so he sent some dudes to meet Starang at D&D Studios. After the dudes beat him up a bit, they reportedly Biggie on the phone and he told the Starang not to mess with him any more. After that, Starang rapped about it saying, “like when I was up in D&D i caught 2 or 3 stitches / I was still gettin b***hes at The Tunnel takin’ pictures.” The 90’s were wild! Here is that video for “No Fear.”
I heard that EZ Elpee snitched on Starang and told Big’s boys where he was at, and he caught a beatdown. that’s why Starang threathened Elpee on ”Bounce To the Ounce”. it’s also rumored Rock from Heltah Skeltah left Duck Down because of this, he was ready to get back at dudes for beating strang, but Dru Ha was like naw man, leave it alone and i heard Rock held a grudge on that. well atleast it’s over, Sean P even stated he was cool with Big, so did Tek and Steele, but i’l never understood why they always mocked him though..
