Looks like Ross is going for a classic by keeping the amount of songs to a minimum and staying to a unified sound.  His album “Teflon Don” releases July 20th and we have the tracklisting.

EXCLUSIVE FOOTAGE OF NAS & IRV GOTTI CHILLING IN THE HOOD

This is why I love NaS.  After all the fame, he’s just a real dude who is proud to rep his hood.  Have to love that.

NEW VIDEO: DJ KHALED – “ALL I DO IS WIN” FT. EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOMMA

I think DJ Khaled is taking a page from the Diddy handbook and owning the all-star remix category the way Combs ruled the official remix game.

Busta Rhymes devoured the beat.  Wow, literally bodied everyone.  Fab showed why he is the punchline king.  Its like effortless for him.

RIHANNA LISTENED TO CANADIAN RAPPER VERSE!

Rihanna listened to my opinion.  See, we Bajans stick together.  I asked just yesterday within an intervention post I put up on this blog for her to drop the goth image and now look; a reveamped, human, non demonic, Rihanna photoshoot.  Now this is a woman that looks sexy to me. Leave the witch craft alone luv, we like you better this way.  Below are more pics of her photoshoot.

NEW VIDEO: FEFE DOBSON – “GHOST”

I like Fefe Dobson and since Rihanna is kind of all over the place I want to be catapulted to stardom and given the credit she deserves for being great and original.  Now watch this chocolate woman do her thing.

SNEAK PEAK: SEAN KINGSTON – “DUTTY LOVE” FT. NICKI MINAJ

This kid is like the musical Webster to me, in that he looks he will look 13 years old forever.  never-the-less he has scored Nicki Minaj on his newest single and ofcourse I have a sneak peak at the music video for you.

Sean Kingston was killing me with the Patwa; don’t expect that from him because his singing is so pop.  Then you remember he is born and raised in Jamaica.

DIDDY DISSES 50 CENT ON TV!

Now we know Diddy wasn’t going to let 50′s comments slide right.  For those that don’t know, 50 called Diddy out for working with Rick Ross at a concert in some recent interviews.  Watch Diddy in all his disrespectful flyness below.

“Hate is for suckas. And you know who I’m talking to, you hatin’ ass crab.”

SHELL HAS AN OIL SPILL AT LEAST 50 TIMES LARGER THAN BP!

I am so at a lost for words with this intel that I simply want to thank Illseed and NY Times for exposing this.  I have pasted Illseed’s revealing statment unedited below.

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END

We are all collectively making a big deal over the BP Oil Travesty AND WE SHOULD! But, one of my favorite readers hit me with THIS! The New York Times recently did a story on an oil leak/spill that has been going on in Africa for the last 50 YEARS. Do you hear me? Let me spell it out – FIFTY YEARS! This is crazy and the culprit is SHELL oil company (Royal Dutch Shell)

Here are some excerpts from the story.

BODO, Nigeria — Big oil spills are no longer news in this vast, tropical land. The Niger Delta, where the wealth underground is out of all proportion with the poverty on the surface, has endured the equivalent of the Exxon Valdez spill every year for 50 years by some estimates. The oil pours out nearly every week, and some swamps are long since lifeless.

The oil spews from rusted and aging pipes, unchecked by what analysts say is ineffectual or collusive regulation, and abetted by deficient maintenance and sabotage. In the face of this black tide is an infrequent protest — soldiers guarding an Exxon Mobil site beat women who were demonstrating last month, according to witnesses — but mostly resentful resignation.

Small children swim in the polluted estuary here, fishermen take their skiffs out ever farther — “There’s nothing we can catch here,” said Pius Doron, perched anxiously over his boat — and market women trudge through oily streams. “There is Shell oil on my body,” said Hannah Baage, emerging from Gio Creek with a machete to cut the cassava stalks balanced on her head.

KANYE WEST GETS SUED FOR HIS HIT “STRONGER”

Kanye West not to be outdone by anybody also has managed to get sued for his hit song “Stronger”.  Get the scoop below.

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop star Kanye West is entangled in a new lawsuit that was recently filed over his hit 2007 single “Stronger,” from the hit album Graduation.

Songwriter/producer Vincent “Vince P.” Peters filed the lawsuit on Friday (June 25th) in United States District Court For the Northern District of Illinois.

Peters claims he wrote the track in 2006 and played it for John Monopoly, a manager/business associate of Kanye West, at his Chicago home on November 12th, 2006.

According to Peters, West recorded his own version of “Stronger” about seven months after a copy of the song was given to Monopoly.

Peters claims Kanye West copied significant portions of his song “Stronger” and incorporated them into his own version, which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

The Grammy Award-winning single has sold over 3 million copies, while the album Graduation has moved almost 2 million units.

According to iTunes, “Stronger” is also the 16th most downloaded song of all time.

Peters is seeking an undisclosed amount of damages and a trial by jury.

Kanye West is currently finishing material for a new album, Good Ass Job.

DRAKE GETS SUED BY PLAYBOY!

I originally overlooked this news because it was 1st broken to the public by Tila Tequila ………. exactly.  Never-the-less it would seem Drake is suffering from the piranhas; such is the stress of being the big fish in the small pool of new superstar talent.

Playboy Enterprises is reportedly suing Drake over the sampling of a track on “Best I Ever Had.” The lawsuit accuses Drake, Cash Money Records and Universal Music Group of Copyright Infringement.

The song sampled at the beginning of “Best I Ever Had” is allegedly their song, “Fallin’ In Love,” by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Dennison/Reynolds. The copyright for the music belongs to Playboy Music, Inc. and Plaintiff, Playboy Enterprises, is its successor in interest.
