NEW MUSIC: MARY J BLIGE – ‘SOMEONE TO LOVE ME’ FT. DIDDY, LIL WAYNE
I feel Mary J Blige channeled some Nina Simone in this song, especially on the hook. I’m really feeling this one, it has been some time since I have been able to say that. The song was originally on Diddy’s Last Train To Paris album but Mary knows she scored heavy on this song so she wants it as her lead single. This track is sure to please die hard R&B soul heads and the HipHop crowds. Tres dope!

My current favorite freaky redhead let everything out the bag in her recent sit-down with RollingStone. Covering the new issue of the mag, RiRi opened up about her feelings toward former boyfriend Chris Brown, her sex life, being a bit of a masochist and more. The issue is available now.
“She hasn’t heard from Brown in a very long time. “We don’t have to talk ever again in my life,” she says. “I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him.”
“She went through an incredibly difficult time after the Brown incident. “I put my guard up so hard,” she says. “I didn’t want people to see me cry. I didn’t want people to feel bad for me. It was a very vulnerable time in my life, and I refused to let that be the image. I wanted them to see me as, ‘I’m fine, I’m tough.’ I put that up until it felt real.”

PARIS HILTON INTERVIEWS LIL WAYNE – WOW!
OK you know I admit when I am late to something and I have missed out on Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine, a mag that pairs vastly different artists together to interview each other; so simple, so genius! I don’t know if they are all like this but I really enjoyed this.
In his next edition he has Paris Hilton interviewing Lil Wayne. YBF put me on to this one. Check it out.

BEYONCE OFFICIALLY SPLITS FROM HER FATHER
I wanted to wait to hear the final word on this but it seems like it is for real and a done deal. Beyonce has formally split from her father in regard to management. Both have released statements confirming the split and strength of their personal relationship.
As many expected, B’s rumoured to be moving to the Roc house her man built for management. We will see how the story develops.
THE JUNOS SALUTED SHAD OVER DRAKE?!
In a strange, untelevised moment a personal acquaintance beat out a goliath; Shad was awarded the best HipHop album of the year over Drake! Strange but congrats go out to both MC’s, both work hard at their craft.
