This video really made my day and for the record the visuals in this make you feel like your watching a movie instead of a video. Crazy video for a crazy song. Enough, I’ll let the video do the talking but first …
and now …
Halle, who juggles being an actress and mom to 3-year-old Nahla, loves to keep it comfy. And now she’s teamed up with popular German retailer Deichmann Shoes to create her own shoe designs. The Revlon spokeswoman did a fab private shoot in Germany this week to showcase her ’5th Avenue by Halle Berry’ collection:
In the commercial, we’ll see Halle getting caught up in changing her outfits and shoes in her dressing room even though she’s late to her film set.
The shoes are mostly and relatively low-heeled, wedged, and comfy but with a stylish edge moms of little ones could definitely appreciate. Halle said about her creations:
“Women have always loved shoes. It’s like if your hair is not right and your shoes are not right, the woman is not right. If both of them are right, you’re pretty much OK.”
She continued:
“And shoes are a statement. They can be very sexy; they can say something about where you are in the day; they can say what your mood is; they give you a chance to accessorize. And I’m a girl that loves to change my shoes all the time. It’s an expression of who you are really. I’m a girl if I find a shoe that I really like I like to get them in all colours. I’m big on that.”
What’s her personal faves? The 45-year-old Hollywood star revealed:
“I would say I’m a nude girl because this goes with everything. You can dress it up and dress it down. I can’t think of any girl who wouldn’t want her name on a brand of shoes. I think that’s pretty cool.”
Halle’s spring/summer range of 40 limited edition shoes will boast peep toes with wedge heels, mid-heeled sandals with straps and mid and high-heeled sling sandals on wedge heels.
The shoes go on sale in the UK in early March with prices starting at £29.99.
BONUS: Halle’s baby’s daddy Gabriel Aubry has agreed to go to anger management classes in light of the assault charges filed on him by Nahla’s nanny.

“Misery no longer loves company. Nowadays it insists on it.“ ~ Russell Baker.
There is a lot of positivity and negativity in the world and you choose what you accept into your life. Misery and hostility are as infectious as happiness and contentedness. This Monday remember that it is as easy to fall into a foul mood as it is to rise into a good one; which direction do you naturally take? Careful who you allow into your inner and even outer circles. Gossip, complaining and ill intentioned wishes for others are traits that should not be permitted in people you closely or regularly associate with. Birds of a feather flock together; if you hang out with 9 liars, you will become the 10th one. Life is a hustle and your at your best when your happy and pationate and sorrounded by people of such character.
Some rumours you hear and you actually hope they come true. This is definitely one of them! My brother and I are fans and I thought that maybe the blue homie got lost in shuffle but it would seem he was quietly on his hustle. This is a true West coast artist with insight behind the bravado. Salute.
The iconic coffee chain has made some bold changes in the US and the Canadian arm of the business is watching. Some American stores have already introduced beer and wine to the menu as well as less potent coffee option called “Blonde” for those who find their blend to strong. Canada is watching the experiment and if we decide to follow, will probably see the first hybrid in Montreal where people are used to seeing alcohol in their coffee houses.
On another note, j’adore Montreal!
(ALLHIPHOP) Sean “Diddy” Combs is making good use out of that Ciroc money and launching his very own music-themed cable network at the end of the year. Sources are reporting that Diddy will try to capture the essence of the “old MTV” with the unveiling of “Revolt” on 12/12/12.
The network will be geared toward African Americans, and reports are saying that it will be distributed by Comcast and Time Warner Cable.
Diddy is heading into Oprah territory with this one. The concept of the old MTV sounds good to me. As long as he doesn’t use this network as a platform to film another “I Wanna Work For Diddy” or “Making the Band” reality show, I’ll be tuning in!

Nicki Minaj releases a video as “different” looking as her Stupid Hoe single sounds. Do you like?
It’s not too soon to start thinking about Valentine’s Day, which is why I’ve created the perfect dessert for a romantic dinner.
My lemon sabayon, served in a martini glass over a layer of cranberry coulis and finished with a spongy lady finger, is not only pleasing to the eye, but packs a big punch of flavor without making you feel weighed down. The smooth airiness of this dessert is what makes it perfect for a date night dinner. Continue reading
