When the temperature gets so cold that it threatens your health if you remain outside too long, the city declares a Cold Weather Alert. Today the Greater Toronto Area has been issued such a warning. My heart goes out to the homeless on the street and some of my colleagues that service them, it has been horribley cold. Make plans to stay in or limit your access to Old Man Winter.
